The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we work and live, accelerating the adoption of remote and flexible working across the world. Many companies have realised the benefits of allowing their employees to work from anywhere, anytime, and with any device. Notably, flexible working not only enhances productivity, efficiency and creativity, but also drives cost savings, reduces stress levels, and contributes positively to environmental impact.
That’s why we are thrilled to share that we’ve been recognised at the Flexa 100 Awards Ceremony, securing the 25th spot overall among all the companies that Flexa partners with.
Why flexible working matters
When people have the chance to work flexibly, 87% of them take it, according to McKinsey. So, why does it matter? It’s simple, really. Among other things, flexible working has a significant ability to improve work-life balance. By allowing employees to have more control over their work schedules, they can better manage personal obligations, spend more quality time with family, and pursue personal interests. This balance leads to happier, more engaged employees who are motivated to excel in their roles. And, happy employees lead to happy customers, ultimately benefiting the company.
Additionally, flexibility in work arrangements has been linked to increased productivity. In fact, a study by FlexJobs found that 55% of remote workers feel their productivity has improved while working from home. Also, 58% would look for a new job if they were no longer allowed to work remotely.
Who are Flexa?
Flexa is a platform that connects job seekers with flexible and remote-friendly employers. Flexa was founded by Molly and Maurice, who experienced the challenges of finding a suitable job after Molly was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. They decided to create Flexa to help people find truly flexible work and help forward-thinking companies to stand out from the crowd. Flexa partners with companies that meet their high standards of flexibility and inclusion, based on an anonymous survey of their employees.
“I was first inspired by CEO and Co-Founder, Molly Johnson-Jones, by a talk she gave at an event for Diversity & Inclusion, where she talked about the importance of flexible working on culture and retention within businesses,” said Ollie Cook, Senior Talent Manager. “Having worked remotely myself since 2017 and now having a 2 ½-year-old daughter, I know firsthand how much value flexibility around working hours, remote/hybrid working and wider workplace benefits has on me, my wife and (hopefully!) our daughter, so everything Molly talked about resonated with me.”
Who do Flexa work with?
To qualify for a partnership with Flexa, companies are evaluated on several factors including location preferences (remote vs office-based requirements), work hours, benefits, senior leadership, trust and autonomy and work-life balance. Then, an anonymous survey is sent to all existing employees to verify exactly what it’s like to work there and how flexible it is. Only the companies that score above 50% are featured on Flexa’s platform and eligible for the Flexa 100 Awards. Puzzel scored an impressive 89%, affirming our commitment to providing a truly flexible work environment.
What’s the Flexa 100?
The Flexa 100 Awards are an annual celebration of the top 100 companies that partner with Flexa. The companies are scored based on thousands of data points that evaluate several working and cultural indicators. Puzzel's impressive 25th ranking overall reflects our commitment to empowering employees through flexibility and trust. While we are proud of this achievement, we strive to continually improve and climb the rankings in the future.
